The Lutheran Gryphons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting West St. John Rams to 2 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Gryphons now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fisher for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Lutheran will meet a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.

The Rams (1-5) will now prepare for their game against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, St. James nipped Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
