The Matoaca Warriors volleyball team (Chesterfield, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA)

The Crimson Wave (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals come into the Central challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Dinwiddie went down by Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Matoaca will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA).
