The Melrose Dutchmen topped the visiting Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Dutchmen now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Centre for a West Central test on Saturday, September 16. Melrose will confront a Mainstreeters team coming off a 3-0 league win over Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 8-3.

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, New London-Spicer gained a win over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
