With the win, South Winneshiek upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Warriors host Starmont (Arlington, IA) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Starmont lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Kee for a Upper Iowa bout on Saturday, September 16. MFL MarMac will play a Kee Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Postville (Postville, IA). The Kee Hawks record now stands at 1-5.
