The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) and the visiting Munford Lions (Munford, AL), saw Sylacauga's volleyball squad beat Munford by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Sylacauga upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Aggies travel to Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to play the Volunteers in a 5A Area 8 bout on Monday, September 18. The Volunteers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

The Lions now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glencoe for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Munford will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sardis (Boaz, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-11.
