The New Ulm Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host St. James Saints to 2 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. New Ulm will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hawley (Hawley, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-5.
The Saints (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers enter the Big South - East game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Blue Earth nipped Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 3-2, in a league game.
