The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA) and the host Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), saw Parkway's volleyball squad beat Southwood by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Parkway upgrades its record to 4-7 on the year. The Panthers host North Caddo (Vivian, LA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Cowboys now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Benton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Southwood will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
