The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Rochester Prep lost 43-16 in their recent non-league battle against Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY)

The Warriors now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Honeoye Falls-Lima for a Section 5 B battle on Friday, September 20. Vertus will play a Cougars team coming off a 28-14 league win over Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
