In their next game, the face the Deer Park Falcons (Deer Park, NY) in a Section 11 Division II challenge, on Friday, September 20. Smithtown West will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 27-14 league loss to Bellport (Brookhaven, NY).

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Half Hollow Hills East (Dix Hills, NY). The Thunderbirds go into the Section 11 Division II challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Half Hollow Hills East toppled North Babylon (North Babylon, NY), 39-0, in a league challenge.
