In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Aspen Skiers.

The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-1 record.

Next, the Skiers meet the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Aspen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
