The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA), witnessed Archbishop Riordan's flag football squad edge Sequoia by a tally of 32-26.

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The FIGHTING KNIGHTS enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hillsdale was nudged by Carlmont (Belmont, CA), 12-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Ravens battle the Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 16. Sequoia will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Gators enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 47-6 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
