The North Pole Patriots flag football squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Chugiak Mustangs to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lathrop for a Mid Alaska test on Tuesday, September 17. North Pole will meet a Malemutes squad coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Malemutes record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Chugiak drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to meet the Thunderbirds in a Cook Inlet test on Tuesday, September 17. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 4-7. Bettye Davis East Anchorage lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Colony (Palmer, AK)
