In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Triad Knights.

The Crusaders (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Columbia got by Belleville East (Belleville, IL), 7-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Knights play the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) in a Mississippi Valley outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Triad will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 5-0 league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).
