Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Ponaganset moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to clash with the Kilties in a Division 3 test on Monday, September 16. The Kilties come into the test with a record of 0-4. Mt. Pleasant lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI)

The now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Prout for a Division 3 test on Tuesday, September 17. Block Island will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-3.
