The Houghton Gremlins soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Sault Area Blue Devils to 0 in the Gremlins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gremlins now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Iron Mountain for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Houghton will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Sault Area moves to 1-8 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 0-9.
