Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) and the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), saw Juniata's soccer squad triumph over Shamokin Area by a count of 5-0.

The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Valley battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Greenwood tipped Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) in a PIAA District IV-A battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Shamokin Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA).
