Illinois High School Soccer - Richwoods knocks off Morton

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Richwoods Knights soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Morton Potters.

The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the Big Twelve outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Champaign Central got by Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Potters play the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Morton will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
