The Piedmont Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Guymon Tigers to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carl Albert for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, September 17. Piedmont will confront a Titans team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Yukon (Yukon, OK). The Titans record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Guymon moves to 11-14 on the season. The Tigers host Laverne (Laverne, OK) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 10-14. Laverne lost 19-6 in their recent non-league battle against Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK)
