The Monarch Coyotes softball squad (Louisville, CO), was routed 8-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO)

With the triumph, Mountain Range improves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Northglenn (Northglenn, CO) to face the Norsemen in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain contest on Tuesday, September 17. The Norsemen enter the contest with a record of 6-7. Northglenn lost 7-1 in their recent league contest against Brighton (Brighton, CO)

The Coyotes now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Niwot for a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks contest on Tuesday, September 17. Monarch will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over The Academy (Westminster, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.
