Mississippi High School Volleyball - Alcorn Central over New Hope

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Alcorn Central Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Hope Trojans.

The Bears (20-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Blue Devils come into the Class 3A Region 1 challenge with a 16-4 record. In their last challenge, Booneville beat Mantachie (Mantachie, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. New Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record.
