Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Austin Catholic improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Roeper (Birmingham, MI) to encounter the Roughriders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Roughriders go into the test with a record of 3-5. Roeper won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clarenceville (Livonia, MI)

The Spartans now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastpointe for a Macomb Area - Bronze test on Wednesday, September 18.
