In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Benjamin Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Hawley Bearcats.

The Mustangs (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Newcastle was beaten by Albany (Albany, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Hawley will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX).
