In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Central Christian Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Prairie City Panthers.
The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chiloquin (Chiloquin, OR). The Panthers/Queens enter the 1A Mountain Valley challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Chiloquin was beaten by Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers (Dayville, OR) in a 1A High Desert challenge, on Friday, September 20. Prairie City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
