Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Little River Redskins (Little River, KS) and the host Centre Cougars (Lost Springs, KS), observed Little River's volleyball team top Centre by a tally of 2-0.

The Redskins (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, KS). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Marion beat Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Wichita HomeSchool Warriors (Wichita, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Centre will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 13-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS).
