Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Grayling Vikings (Grayling, MI) and the visiting Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI), observed Grayling's volleyball team top Farwell by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks enter the Lake Michigan contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Elk Rapids notched a victory over Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI) in a Jack Pine contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Farwell will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
