With the win, Parsons improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Iola (Iola, KS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-2. Iola won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Humboldt (Humboldt, KS)

The Golden Tornado now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chanute for a Southeast Kansas test on Tuesday, September 17. Field Kindley will face a Blue Comets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS). The Blue Comets record now stands at 3-2.
