South Carolina High School Volleyball - Fort Dorchester can't hold off Goose Creek

September 14, 2024: North Charleston, SC 29420

In Saturday's non-league match, the Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC) volleyball squad tipped the host Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Gators battle the Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 match, on Tuesday, September 17. Goose Creek will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Stags enter the match with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC).

The Patriots (9-8) will now prepare for their match against West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Wildcats enter the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, West Ashley nipped Hanahan (Hanahan, SC), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
