The Fortuna Huskies (Fortuna, CA) volleyball held off the visiting Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Willows for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. Fortuna will clash with a Honkers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Hoopa Valley drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA) to clash with the Crusaders in a Humboldt - Del Norte - Little 7 bout on Thursday, September 19.
