In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars.

The Warbirds (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Skyhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Shiloh Christian lost by Kenmare (Kenmare, ND), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Griggs County Central/Midkota will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] (Cando, ND).
