With the win, Linsly advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Cadets host Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH) to face the Purple Riders in a Ohio Valley 4A test on Monday, September 16. The Purple Riders go into the test with a record of 6-2. Martins Ferry won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH)

The Blue Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tyler for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24.
