The Malden Green Wave volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Senath-Hornersville Lions to 0 in the Green Wave league triumph on Saturday.

The Green Wave now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to New Haven for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Malden will play a Shamrocks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO). The Shamrocks record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Senath-Hornersville drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to play the Eagles in a Class 2 District 1 outing on Tuesday, September 17. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-1. East Prairie won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Cooter (Cooter, MO)
