Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rockets face the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Goddard will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.
The Wildcats now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Portales for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Clovis will face a Rams team coming off a 3-3 non-league Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Rams record now stands at 0-0.
