New York High School Soccer - Moriah nudges Chazy

Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 19. Moriah will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY).

The Eagles now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Placid for a Northern challenge on Saturday, September 17. Chazy will confront a Bombers team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 0-3.
