In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Roy Royals soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Cyprus Pirates.
The Royals (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Warriors come into the 6A Region 2 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Taylorsville was overwhelmed by Kearns (Kearns, UT), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Pirates (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Lancers come into the 6A Region 2 battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Granger was overwhelmed by West (Salt Lake City, UT), 4-0, in a league battle.
