The Mt. Blue Cougars smashed the visiting Lawrence Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Messalonskee for a Class A - North match on Tuesday, September 20. Mt. Blue will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Lawrence drops to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 20.
