North Carolina High School Football - Bishop McGuinness drops to Mountain Island Charter

September 15, 2022: Kernersville, NC 27284

In Thursday's non-league game, the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) football team knocked off the host Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), by a final score of 24-7.

The Raptor (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Pine Lake Prep toppled Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 20-8, in a non-league game.

The Villains now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Patriots team coming off a 27-13 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.
