The Apex Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holly Springs for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 20.
The Mustangs (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Millbrook gained a win over Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
