With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Garinger won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

The Patriots now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host North Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. Independence will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
