The Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) volleyball were winner over the visiting South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Effingham County betters its record to 2-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA) to face the Hornets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 0-3.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Bulloch for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 22. South Effingham will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
