The Taft Eagles topped the host Francis W. Parker Colonels volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection for a non-league test on Monday, September 19. Taft will confront a Bandits team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Bandits record now stands at 1-1.
The Colonels (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Beacon Academy (Evanston, IL). The Trailblazers enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Beacon Academy was knocked off by Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
