The North Brunswick Scorpions held off the visiting South Brunswick Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Scorpions now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20. North Brunswick will confront a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 4-4.
The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their test against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions enter the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, South Columbus held off Pender (Burgaw, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
