In Thursday's league battle, the host Grafton Bearcats soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lewis County Minutemen.

The Minutemen (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Wheeling Central Catholic was nudged by Brooke (Wellsburg, WV), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
