Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 21-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellevue East for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Gretna will battle a Chieftains squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Westview (Omaha, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Omaha Central falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 16-3. Lincoln East won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Millard West (Omaha, NE)
