The Parkway North Vikings (St. Louis, MO) softball routed the host Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO), 7-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Statesmen go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.

The Lancers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Seckman for a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. Lutheran South will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-0.
