Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) and the host North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA), witnessed Walnut Grove's softball squad tip North Hall by a count of 4-2.

The Warriors now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Buford for a non-league match on Monday, September 19. Walnut Grove will face a Wolves squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, North Hall moves to 9-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) to face the Bears in a 4A Region 8 match on Tuesday, September 20. The Bears go into the match with a record of 8-9.
