The Pope Greyhounds routed the host Roswell Hornets softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Thursday's league battle.

The Greyhounds (17-1) will now prepare for their battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators go into the 6A Region 7 battle with a 2-13 record.

The Hornets now sport a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league battle on Monday, September 19. Roswell will meet a Knights squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
