In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Worcester Prep Mallards volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Arcadia Firebirds.

The Mallards (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD). The come into the Peninsula Christian battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Salisbury Christian nudged Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Firebirds encounter the Fredericksburg Victory Valor (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Arcadia will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
