North Carolina High School Volleyball - Madison tips Avery County

September 15, 2022: Marshall, NC 28753

The Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) volleyball tipped the visiting Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Madison upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Patriots host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 8-3. Mountain Heritage won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

The Vikings now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Owen for a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 20. Avery County will play a Warhorses squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 7-4.
