West Virginia High School Volleyball - Braxton County overwhelmed by Clay County

September 15, 2022: Sutton, WV 26601

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Clay County Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Braxton County Eagles.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Nicholas County lost by Roane County (Spencer, WV), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV) in a Little Kanawha battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Braxton County will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Paden City (Paden City, WV).
