In Thursday's league contest, the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 20.
